The Farmington Heights Worship Team consists of a front line vocal group, choir, band and horn section. The band and horns currently rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 to 6:45 pm. The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Our goal is to give our Lord sincere and passionate worship and to lead others in the same. Through relevant lyrics and music, we want to tell God who He truly is in our lives. Our purpose is to present services in a relevant and professional manner and to ensure that nothing interferes with the presentation of God’s Word. We also strive to stay current as technology changes and gear gets better and better.

The past few years have yielded a tremendous amount of growth and improvement in the Technical Ministries.  Recently we have made some significant lighting improvements, including the addition of a digital lighting console (ETC Element).  We have accomplished the goal of “whole house control” where we now control every light in the sanctuary from this one board. click here for pictures.

We have also improved our guitar rigs, with pedal boards for each electric guitar player, and isolation boxes in a back room to decrease our stage volume dramatically.  click here for pictures.

 The Adult Drama Team ministers regularly in our Sunday morning services. Our weekly rehearsal schedule varies depending on schedules of those involved in each month’s drama.

This team communicates the gospel using skit style dramas. As we provide dramatic interpretations of the scriptures and expand on sermon themes, our goal is to stir hearts and minds to a deeper relationship with Christ.

In the future, we hope to bring growth to our team as well as to open doors to take our ministry out into our community.

This dynamic mime team ministers regularly in our morning worship services.  Led by Chad and Christy Owens, Soul Purpose utilizes the forums of dance, interpretive movement, mime and drama during our Sunday morning worship services. Our purpose is to share the gospel and usher people into the presence of God through these art forms.
